Quality Assurance

Printer-friendly version

A harmonized quality system (quality assessment and control) was introduced based on a set of internationally-accepted quality requirements for biobanking, namely BBMRI-ERIC quality standards, OECD guidelines, the French norm NF S 96-900, ISO 9001 formally adopted by the nine participating academic centers.

A system of peer-review quality auditing was introduced in 2014. These audits were successfully concluded early 2015 and were positive for all CRC Biobanks involved. The audits will be used as baseline for future quality assessments. In addition, a consensus ethical/legal framework was implemented within the partner sites.
